First visit & FAQ

The questions everyone asks.

If yours isn’t here, the form at the bottom goes straight to Dana.

I’ve never lifted. Is that a problem?

No. Most people start here having never touched a barbell. Your first session is one-on-one, free, and mostly talking and moving slowly. Nobody hands you a heavy bar on day one.

What should I wear and bring?

Flat shoes if you have them, anything you can move in, water. That’s it. We have chalk, belts, and everything else.

Where do I park?

Free lot behind the building, entrance off the alley. Street parking on Sixth is fine after 6 pm. Use the side door; the front one sticks.

How big are classes?

Eight people max, one coach. If a class is full, the schedule says so and you pick another.

Can I cancel?

Any time, by text. No forms, no thirty-day notice, no fee. Come back whenever.

I have a bad back / knee / shoulder.

Tell Dana at the first session. Almost everything can be scaled, and a lot of people come here because of a bad back, not despite one. If something needs a doctor first, we’ll say so.

Do you do personal training?

Yes, limited spots, $60 a session for members. Ask in the form below.

Book a first session

Free, one-on-one, about 45 minutes. Dana replies within a day with two times to pick from.
